More and more dolls and toys crowd the stage as s pair of Russian dolls, dressed in Russian folk costumes of old, dance traditional steps. (fig.1 G. Vishnjakova and U. Mineyev as Russian dolls; 2nd act)

As a grand finale, all the dancing dolls get together, celebrating their new friend Marie and the very handsome Prince. Life, at the moment, seems to be a bowl of cherries! (fig.2 Dance of Dolls; 2nd act)
Suddenly Marie’s attention is drawn to the toy boat hanging from the Christmas tree. As she stares in disbelief, it grows larger and larger, so large in fact that it is now a full-sized ship. The Prince takes Marie’s hand and they slowly board the ship. The Prince takes Marie’s hand and they slowly board the ship, waving good-bye to the dolls and telling them they are off to the Kingdom of Sweets. (fig.3 set of 6th scene)

Beautiful fairies welcome Marie and the Prince to the Kingdom of Sweets. This is a land of kindness and honesty … there is no place for evil here! (fig.4 Waltz; 2nd act)

Soon handsome Pages appear and dance their welcome to the Prince and Marie. “Welcome to the Kingdom of Sweets” … the Land where there is no evil … “We hear no evil … see no evil … and do no evil. Welcome, welcome, you are safe here from the Mouse King.” (fig.5 Waltz; 2nd act)
The Fairies and the Pages dance together as they are told to prepare for a royal wedding, for the Prince has proposed to Marie and they shortly will be married in a royal wedding ceremony full of pomp, music and dancing.(fig.6 Waltz; 2nd act)
