(soprano).
Honoured Artist of Russia.
She was born in Moscow. She graduated from
the Vocal Department of the Gnesins Music College, and later, from
the Russian Gnesins Academy of Music.
Since 1997 she has been studying vocal under
the guidance of her teacher A. A. Davtyan, who is her main instructor
and tutor. She is the III prize winner at the All-Russia Glinka
Competition (1995, Ufa), the II prize and special prizes winner
at the International G. Viotti Competition of Vocalists in Italy
(“spectators’ sympathy” prize and the Female Club of Vocal Fans
prize, 1998, Vercelli). The singer appears abroad and at home with
her extensive opera and concert repertoire. She has worked with
the conductors V.I. Fedoseev, V. Gunenvein, S. Sondetskis, V.T.
Spivakov.
From 1987 to 2000 she was a soloist of the
Moscow Chamber Chorus under the guidance of V.N. Minin. In 2000
she joined the Bolshoi Opera Company as soloist. Her debut was the
part of Musetta in La Boheme. |
